Nazneen Kachwala is an engineer who writes, reads, and reviews books. She writes stories about relationships and subjects that are social in nature. Her stories are featured in The Optimist Citizen Newspaper, The Times of India, Madras Courier, and TellMeYourStory. Nazneen is fond of history, astrophysics, ancient architecture, traveling across the mountains, and learning new languages.
She hosts the '#talks Human Library Podcast' through which she intends to create a library of thoughts, ideas, and perceptions by interviewing social changemakers, fitness enthusiasts, authors, and spiritual personalities.
Nazneen is a believer in the philosophy of yoga and minimalism.

Nazneen has been creatively engaged with www.tellmeyourstory.biz (TMYS), authoring stories and poems and also lending her expertise in various content projects. One of her stories has been published in an anthology ebook compiled by TMYS. Her poems make for beautiful musical reads on YouTube. One of Nazneen's most crucial engagements has been editing selected stories for Come Home Papa project of TMYS, powered by Mahindra Truck & Bus. The project published books with selected short-stories on road safety written by the daughters of truck drivers in India. Nazneen's contribution is fondly acknowledged in the book. As a storyteller, Nazneen's passion for experimenting with characters in unexpected settings and her interest in unsettling patriarchy through her pen leaves a learning scape for many aspiring writers.
Whenever there was a conversation with friends, one opinion would surface unanimously that the gen-next youngsters only live for themselves. Respect for elders, compassion for the community does not feature in their plan of action. And then I met this young, petite lovely girl with dreamy eyes. She was inviting me for a talk. The talk program was like other platforms of TED, Swayam, or Josh talks. But the very fact that the youth was getting attracted and wanted to listen to some stories that changed the world a shade better was really heartening. Her idea to promote a concept of community gathering to showcase the talents and passions of people in a city was terrific. I personally was amused and inspired by the stories that were presented by the people from my very own city. She is continuing this program with a variety of people from all walks of life. She is an ardent reader and writer. Her book reviews too make an interesting read. And when you have a person with a positive frame of mind, ideas just galore.
The Optimist Citizen is a news magazine with purely positive news as they describe it. But Nazneen's contribution, scouting talented people from across the country and present their work to the world is incredible. Well, I see a lot of hope for community life and country with youngsters like Nazneen around. I wish her the best for her every endeavor.
We are associated with WINGED FABLES since its inception. The causes they pick, act as a catalyst to create a better society, better tomorrow, and a better world. Supporting literacy, lifting up the vulnerable sections of the society, giving a platform to the hidden talents, arranging open mic sessions – the spectrum of Winged Fables is wide and endless.
