In the second chapter of #talks on sustainable living and minimalism, Aviram Rozin, the founder of Sadhana Fores, shares his story of reviving some 70 acres of dry land in Auroville. Aviram and his wife move to India in 2003 for a spiritual quest for which they first thought to build a space out of pure compassion. Sadhana Forest is a volunteer-based not-for-profit organization helping and teaching the local community in environmental renewal.
Aviram works for conservation, food security, and ecological revival. In this conversation, Aviram stresses the idea of water conservation, challenges faced during the project, the daily regime at the forest and the future of Sadhana Forest. His message of love and compassion is evident through his efforts towards the community and the planet.
